| PhillyClassic 4 Here is a general view of what basically amounts to a very large room within the hotel, holding all of the various booths and mini-events. |
| PhillyClassic 4 Here is another general shot. |
| PhillyClassic 4 And yet another general shot. |
| PhillyClassic 4 This is the "Pac-Man Lady". Or at least that's what we like to call her. I'm sure she has some other name. |

| PhillyClassic 4 This is me browsing. Christina got a nice shot of my eyes closed. Note the geeky backpack to assist in the carrying of everything. Not shown: Christina's backpack... |
| PhillyClassic 4 Okay, Christina got another shot with my eyes closed. Is she trying to get me back? Anyway, this is after I got the high score for one of my favorite games, Pooyan, as of about 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. I got somewhere in the neighborhood of 125,000 points. Not too shabby for my first time ever playing the actual arcade game. Previously I had only played the numerous home and MAME versions (and in fact would have scored the Atari 2600 version at the show if it wasn't so darned expensive (relatively of course)). |
| PhillyClassic 4 A covert shot of THE Cindy Morgan. THE Cindy Morgan was in Caddyshack and Tron and...umm...I think a very, very short-lived television series with Bruce Boxleitner. She became disillusioned with the industry soon after and I think joined the Montana militia before surfacing at the occasional corporate golf event and THE PhillyClassic 4. Her appearance more than made up for the apparent no-show of SID MEIER... |
| PhillyClassic 4 Cindy Morgan in front of a camera for the first time in 20 years... Seriously, she seemed to be a very good sport and still had quite a few admirers. Cindy seems like a super nice and "real" person, so hopefully she'll make a return to the event next year. I recommend listening to Mike Stulir's "Back In Time" Internet radio show for her interview from the event. |

| PhillyClassic 4 The first ever arcade machine, Computer Space. |
| PhillyClassic 4 Another general shot and another angle of Computer Space. |

| Home And what happens to a wife after getting home from her husband's torture event... |
| PhillyClassic 4 Booty Here is a shot of the Odyssey2 I got for $15 along with a bunch of games. This is a first version model with the attached controllers and funky TV switch box. With a little polish it will be much more attractive and a welcome addition to my collection. |
| PhillyClassic 4 Booty I threw all of my stuff into a box before photographing so I could get it down to the den and closer to my workstation and workshop. |
| PhillyClassic 4 Booty Flashcard Maker and add-on for the Coleco Adam; Cosmic Avenger in a box that I accidentally pilfered while buying other stuff; parallel printer interface for the Commodore 64 and Vic-20; Karateka, Crossbow, Dark Chambers and Ball Blazer for the Atari 7800, as well a boxed Jinks; Intellivision Stampede, boxed; and what looks like some of the stickers to a Commodore 64 Magical Musical Keyboard overlay (how did that get in there?). Note the Pac-Man shoelaces given away at the door... |
| PhillyClassic 4 Booty The many Odyssey2 catridges, including a mostly complete copy of the board game/videogame hybrid Quest for the Rings; Choplifter for the Sega Master System; Cat Trax for the infamous Emerson Arcadia system; Intellivision He-Man Masters of the Universe and Pitfall; and Atari 5200 Berserk (with voice), Countermeasure and Pengo. |
| PhillyClassic 4 Booty Here is a shot of the Quest for the Rings box open. I'm just missing the keyboard overlay and a couple of chips. I'll cope. |
| PhillyClassic 4 Booty Ah, this is the good stuff. All sealed. However, I'm not the type to keep my stuff around just for show, so it's all getting opened and handled. A "snooty" collector I'm not... Gortek and the MicroChips in a large, perfect sealed box for the Commodore Vic-20; a third party Coleco Adam printer ribbon; a neat sealed, if smooshed copy of AtariSoft's Picnic Paranoia for the TI99/4A (with the promise of MANY more games to come for the system on the back of the box!); Crystal Mines II and Xybots for the Lynx (I would have gotten a LOT more, but didn't catalog everything in time so I couldn't remember what I had or didn't have for a lot of my systems); and a PERFECT sealed copy of The Dreadnough Factor for the Atari 5200, a game I ALWAYS wanted after seeing the Intellivision version in magazines in my youth - it has a great concept but I hear it's actually a bad game... |
| PhillyClassic 4 Booty Christina wanted Kung Fu. She's not much of a game player, but was big with the NES as a kid, and is still a wiz at the Mario games, The Little Mermaid, Batman and a few others. The other stuff is miscellaneous gunk picked up at the show. |
