Bill: While there are examples of my written and creative work elsewhere on this site - and in fact this is now mostly superceded by Armchair Arcade and Myth Core - this is where all of the less specific content will go.  Where applicable, I'll keep the original dates and commentary after the link is clicked for that authentic historical effect.

Christina's
writings are also below, under POETRY, as well as elsewhere on this Website...

Lucy knows the score! Thank you, Charles Schulz...

SHORT STORIES

bullet

(2007) One Paragraph Short Stories - This was a fun little event we had over at Armchair Arcade.

bullet

(1994) Words - The final version of a dramatic fiction short story that I first wrote in 1994.  It's actually based on a true life story...

bullet

(1994) Go West Young Man (or Doomsday 24) - This is a spy-spoof comedy short story first written in 1994, long before Mike Meyers' Austin Powers series of movies. It's interesting that we came up with many of the same jokes independently, but it just shows I should have tried a little harder, as a few were very obvious satires apparently. However, I throw a lot of straight comedy in there as well, and I hope Douglas Adams fans will find some similarities (by the way, the elevator scene was based on a geeky experience from my youth that I used as a real off-the-cuff solution in the classic TSR pen and paper role-playing game, Top Secret). This is the only publication of this work anywhere, and the reason it appears here is that I was tired of having it just sit around, gathering dust as it were. Perhaps someday my original inspiration will return, as at one time I had a whole series planned...

REVIEWS

bullet

(1995) I wrote a scathing review of Disney's animated disaster, Pocahontas, on rec.arts.movies.reviews, before there was really a World Wide Web (WWW) or Internet as we know it today.  It seems Rotten Tomatoes has immortalized it here (by the way, the name, William Loguidice, much like Bill Loguidice, Jr., is one I've stopped using long ago for creative works).

ARTICLES

bullet

(1998) An edited version of this Steve O'Keefe interview article appeared in the October 22, 1998, edition of US 1 newspaper, in the Business Survival Guide feature section.

bullet

(1998) An edited version of this Victor Murray interview article appeared in the October 14, 1998, edition of US 1 newspaper, special Commercial Real Estate Edition.

ESSAYS

bullet

(1998) Here is a brief essay on The Origins of the Universe that goes a little deeper...

bullet

(1998) This is an essay on Romantic Love. It helps to know that this was written long before I found my soulmate and wife, Christina, who truly does help to make my life the amazing and wonderful experience it is.

ARTWORK

bullet

Just for fun, here is original art I did converted straight from my Commodore Amiga 500 and Deluxe Paint III days, circa 1989 and 1991, respectively: Peanuts and Bugs Bunny, both drawn pixel-by-pixel using a mouse.  Now I should figure out how to convert my Commodore 64 artwork (drawn with a joystick and (much) later a mouse) from the early to mid 1980's (ah, the good old days...)...

POETRY

bullet

(1998) The structured poem Weary, was written when I was in 7th grade and published in the school literary magazine. It has a fun fantasy take (at least for junior high school)...

bullet

(1997) Cathy - Final version of a mediocre published poem with a much-needed explanation...

bullet

(1998) If Only... - Final version of another not-so-good published poem with an About the Author publication section.

bullet

Unlike my attempts above, Christina created three real poems in the late 1990's - An Ode to a Drunkard, Conman and Eros Isle - all available by clicking here.
